You want Butterfly to sign Liam again? OK...well he actually was a Butterfly sponsored player for some years before switching to Victas...

During his time with Butterfly, Liam used the Korbel, the Viscaria and then the Mizutani ZLC.
Apparently he was not high-profile enough (for Butterfly) to get his own signature blade, you know apart from this dumb pre-made blade they released years ago

I’m calling it.  Eventually, Liam will part ways with Victas and somebody will put his discontinued Victas blade for sale advertising it as “autographed by Liam Pitchford”.

I love Anatomic handles and wonder why more players don't use them.  They are very comfortable handles.
Joola Zhou Qihao 90 blade
Joola Dynaryz Inferno max - BH
Nittaku Moristo SP 2.0 - FH

yep...to me, the 'bulging" area just caresses my palm and gives me the "feel & control"...
IMHO, the Anatomic handles of my Donic Waldner OFF 40, Dr Neubauer Hercules & ZJK SZLC are just so nice & comfortable....

Because ML/TB/FZD/XX/HT/{insert favorite pro's name here} does not use AN handle and we need the exact same equipment as him so we will play just like he does.  If somebody wins majors playing with AN more rec players will suddenly prefer that handle too.

I would say that AN handle is a blessing and a curse.

ST is neutral
FL is "kind of" neutral

AN is another story.   It is supposed to fit your hand like a glove.   So either you have a very good AN handle (like few of Donic's blades that I own) or you have something that is very horrible to hold.

Last AN blade that I own is Tibhar Drinkhall AC and it is not as nice as Samsonov Premium Contact AN (old version, orange handle).
Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

This looks a lot like the Victas ZX-Gear Out blade.

It does, although interestingly Liam was initially using the ZX-Gear In blade when he first moved to Victas.

Lin Gaoyuan's blade at recent ITTF World Tour German Open was Butterfly LGY AN?

Life is too short for defensive play.

No, that's flared. Look at the next picture in the gallery.

The handle's "design" of Btfy Lin Gaoyuan is pretty nice..but I don't like the BH side w/ that tiny round "hologram"...Older version/design look better...IMHO.

Not quite the same, since the Zexion Carbon is closer to ALC than to ZLC, according to Zeio on TTD.

Anyway, this ought to feel very much like the ZX-Gear Out, except a little heavier and more powerful, due to the thicker core.
