A couple of Hurricane Hao 3 in the link are actually Hurricane Long 5. HH3 has grey outer plies. Thanks. |

Yup. They mixed it up quiet badly this time. In the comments it is said that they mixed up the fh and bh side several times (they fixed some of the mistakes, but still some obvious ones remained including the blade of Sun Wen). As you said, the Hurricane Hao blades have a grey-deyed top ply and also the handle caps are dark blue (similiar in colour to the Boll Spirit) and not baby blue as with the Hurricane Long 3 or 5. That being said, Sun Wen probably plays a W968.

Samsonov likes to try new blades and different materials a lot. Usually pros dont change that much i guess.

Samsonov had no idea what his blade is made of. This is hilarious.

Yeah, people obsessed with topics on blades composition should watch and take notes ![]() He simply goes by the "feel" and he's not afraid to change

assuming it is not photoshopped, is the coach saying: "We did get away with this!"

It would be so easy to erase the viscaria name why would you change the handle and keeping the original name to make it look like other brand?

laziness? who knows... afterall, the blade was not supposed to make its appearance without the rubber in the playing hall. i'm still not convinced it was not photoshopped.
