first off,  don't PM me with an offer.  I'm inquiring pricing/advice for this blade.  If you PM me I'll ignore/block you.   Be respectful.

Second, thank for reading this post and providing me with an honest assessment.

There is an older gentleman at my TT club (he's 80+) that has been playing for 35 years.  He's not internet savvy and I'm assisting him.

I would like your estimate on pricing a BFY Viscaria Black Label blade.    Please review the condition and provide be some advice/assessment.

Thank you.

I'm neither the most knowledgeable guy in the forum nor  a collector but I'd hazard a guess it would be  on the 550/600-ish...

50-60 euro. Used and broken. No interest for collectors, only for game. But for playing more reasonable to buy new Viscaria, the same, but new with X, V, W...

For that price, you can get a golden Viscaria. 😎

That is utter nonsense. Maybe you wouldn't pay a collector price for it, others surely would.
I don't think it is broken at all (near the neck/handle area for example, where blades tend to break, if enough force is involved, though!). There is nothing in the pictures that indicates that.

I does have some very minor dings and splinters, yes, but I have seen Black Tags in way worse condition sell for like 300-350 €. But that's probably the bare minumum for pretty much any Viscaria Black Tag. That being said, this is a third generation Black Tag which was produced from like 2002 - 2006, although the serial number actually starts with H (2007 production), so this might be one of the last Viscarias with a Black Tag. After that the old Silver Tag was used.
If this was a first generation with the shorter lens (F L / S T), then it would sell (in this condition) for like 600 € at least; to some degree, with collector blades that old (and older) it depends a little bit on the market situation and (potential) buyers as a whole.
Me personally, if I had serious interest, I would be willing to pay 400 - 500 € for that particular blade, and if there is a collector out there who would pay 750 € for it, then it is worth 750 €, it's that simple.

This is very much a collector blade and not one you would want to play with.

I agree with you only here "...me personally, if I had serious interest, I would be willing to pay 400 - 500 € for that particular blade, and if there is a collector out there who would pay 750 € for it, then it is worth 750 €, it's that simple".

Yes, it's true. If someone is ready to pay 500 euros for used Viscaria, it's good news for seller))) I'm not. Only new ones worth money, used blade like used woman for collectorLOL

But collectors all are different and it's true too))

Blade is looking very good, I will never sell this one under 500 eur if it was mine.
If I had personal interest, I will be surely looking for something with need of repair, due to my skills for restoring damaged tt blades. If this blade had original box and was in perfect condition or close - should be around 800-1000 euro for the correct person. You need only 1 buyer, not 99999999999.
So, depending your needs I think this blade could be sold in several minutes for 350 and for several weeks for 500. But it's only my opinion. Reality could be different. Here is a picture of my restored ST model from 2nd Gen old tag Viscaria. This blade plays fantastic. For your blade I wish you a Good luck!

Hey hi, the pricing can vary depending on factors such as the blades condition, rarity, and market demand.

This was my racket that I sold it in ebay with starting price of about $800 and it eventually sold for little less than $500.
