Thanks for the heads-up. Winner and runner-up qualify for the World Cup. Nikhil Kumar lost to Cifuentes. Calderano is back from injury and beat Hazin 4-2. Kanak Jha and Wu Yue are through to the semis. Lily Zhang has her quarterfinal later.

watching Knaka in the semis, not doing well. Again, FH is not very strong. But I have been labeled as a “hater”. Hope he can turn it around in game 4.

the last several points of game 5 just showed how weak his FH is. Feel bad.

In the men's final Calderano will play against Tsuboi.
Life is too short for defensive play.

Boll is 38 (turning 39 next month) and won the Europe Top 16 for the seventh time today.

All four semi-finalists play in the Bundesliga.  Says something about the quality of the league and the players as well.

Is Adriana really this good or is Lily really this bad?

Or did they have a deal that there was no way Lily could beat the pride of Puerto Rico at home?

Lily just seems really out of sorts.

Lily won the previous 2 encounters (Slovenia Open and World Cup). I don't know how Adriana played in those matches, but today she just throws knuckleballs, curveballs, changeups and whatever makes Lily uncomfortable.

Lily is relaxing - but the hole is so deep she has no room for error.

If Lily is to make it to the next level she needs to work on her FH. Too much relying on counter attack and that is what Adriana did to her. Lily's neutral position is too far left always looking BH and this makes the FH late. Can't have a late FH if she wants to compete with the Chinese.

Lily posted on FB that she was playing with the stomach flu. Since she beat Adriana twice in 2019, I wouldn't read too much into this loss. As for competing with the Chinese - well...

Interesting facial expression of Jeremy Hazin in this Pan Am cup.
Getting more and more interesting as the match progresses.

What do you think?

==============================

Jeremy needs to watch videos of the facial expression of these players when they lose a point:
Ma Long, FZD, XX, Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, etc..

And act accordingly.
(Jeremy's facial expression when losing a point just doesn't look good.)
