i've recorder part of the match between china and sweden. i will try 2 upload it 2 megaupload tomorrow(have 2 go 2 sleep now..sorry..)
i use world tv 2 record it and the quality as pretty low(file format - asf)
hope all of the "regular" uploader r doing just that...

btw it looks like timo is in good shape and suss is also having nice results.
korea will have 2 work hard 2 reach the final (against china...)

Austria is also doing well.  Their upcoming match against Germany will determine the winner of group C.  BTW, Korea won't necessarily be in the same half of the draw as the group C winner.

i agree about austria, but we'll have 2 wait and c them against germany cause from schlager's matches it seems he is not on form(i think chen weixing has won all his match so far)

the nock out rounds r pretty weired. the first team of every group advance directly 2 the qaurter and the second and third advance 2 the 1\8, though there's no clear draw - it's possible that teams from the same group would meet in the 1/8. (it's even possible 2 c china against korea in the qaurter)

Yeah, Schlager's back might still be bothering him.  If the injury is a problem, Austria might put him in the third position.

China will almost certainly win their group and Korea will probably win theirs too.  In the likely event of both of those things happening, the two teams could only meet in the final.

michael maze could've done better against WLQ i think.  WLQ played pretty well and i think his backhand got better.

r u sure?
i've understand from reading at ittf.com it says every team could meet in every stage, or maybe they were just reffering 2 the 1\8?

I'm positive.  A1 is at the top of the draw and B1 is at the bottom as shown at http://www.ittf.com/world_events/wttc_2006/WTTC_Team_Chart_F.pdf

Meanwhile, I'm trying to watch CCTV-5 through www.pplive.com, but no one else is on!  I guess that's understandable since the Chinese women playing India isn't very enticing.  Hopefully, there will be a high peer count when the Chinese men play Sweden in about two and a half hours.

First the English version of the pplive website was down, now the entire website is down...

afaik winners of each group will be seeded to quarterfinal. so if both china and korea win their group, they couldn't meet sooner than in semifinal (or even in final, it depends on whether they'll be seeded in the same bracket)

That match was on Monday which was two days prior to any matches being filmed for tv.  Chinese coach Li Xiaodong (father of Austrian player Li Qianbing) filmed it, but that footage probably won't end up on the Internet.  Wink
