2-color ball? You can only see it at closeups during the serve - from a main camera angle it looks white. At least that's what I see during JSH-Gacina match.
Also - score is being projected onto the table between points - pretty cool.

The 2 color ball is only useful if there is a slow-mo camera zoomed in on the ball. So the ball is only useful if they dedicate cameras _just_ to follow the ball.

I suspect it's much more useful to the players (makes it easier to read spin or lack of it) - and you are correct, we as viewers only notice it in close up views. Is this one of the ongoing ITTF experiments and if so, strange that that we did not hear more about it. I suspect, if adopted, it would make disguising spin on serve less effective (?) and probably will be harder for choppers to vary spin and get away with it. P.S. Sorry for thread hijack...
