Looks like no hand shaking at Qatar because of Covid-19.

I noticed that that they did not shake hands.

The promising young player from Sweden, Moregard Truls is playing against Fang Bo on table 1.
(Bad draw for Moregard Truls, I guess.)

Wait a minute, Moregard Truls won the first game easily.
This young man got talent.
But still, for him to win is a tall order.
====================
Moregard leads the game:  2-1.

One of the things one must appreciate about the Swedes is their ability to resist all influences of fashion and clothing technology advancement in the selection of their team shirts.  They are not going to be caught dead in those beautiful shirt designs and materials of the Chinese or Japanese or the tastefully presented shirts of the Germans.  Oh no, not the Swedes!  If they continue to wear white at Wimbledon, then the Swedes too can hold up their contribution to tradition for the sake of tradition.

Thanks.

Not sure why you think it was a tall order.   Fang Bo has lost to lesser players recently.

According to you, Moregard Truls should quit (because of those losses)?
Great logic, critical thinking.

Can not argue with you, your brain is just too advanced for me.

I always saw Moregard as a great contender for the top spot. His talent is high up there but hormones helping, he goes too fast, too quick, too hard, too flat too often but isn't that kind of rushing an asset in table tennis? if the coaches can focus that energy in a sustainable plan, with time he will settle a bit closer to the middle and be more patient. It's happening now and his best has yet to come.

The match is on the ITTF youtube channel.  It looks like Fang Bo is very injured but still tried to play.  He could barely move at all compared to the way he usually plays.

Earlier this year, he lost to Niagol Stoyanov, a player he has no business losing to.  Something is just wrong with his game maybe injury.  He actually played better here.

Darko's hitting is super clean at the moment.  Great form.
This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.
