Is there much difference in the quality and play of the 70s nailed Stiga blades with the big stickers of the players Alser, Bengtsson, Johannson and the 80s ones that have no sticker just the names in the little bubble?

There are several differences. The old sticker series (60's/early 70's) =
- bigger head size - harder limba veneer - different kind of glueing - deeper handle-placement No matter, what you prefer, but the feeling will be very different. 1975 Stiga started with the smaller head size, added the "Allround Wood" imprint, but sold both kinds of handles (unnailed sticker blades/lens-blades) parallel for a few years. Of course there is no big difference between these blades. |
