I'm kind of at their mercy and can't request much in the way of specifications. I asked for cpen and I begged for it to be light, but I'm just hoping I get one. I'd place my odds of getting one at about 50/50. If it arrives, then I'll try to work some magic on them for more. BTW . . . it's through a distributor, not Nittaku itself.

My sympathy to u cuz. u'll be spending some more $$ for this Cpen. The news from Tzai must've taken ur breath away.
For me...Nah...I'll be like a scavenger looking to pick up the pieces from Tz n others....Too bad, as nothing turns me on no more. Or I could be wrong as Alfie, Ryno, JimT or Tz might know what I may be looking for....

Acoustic cpen update: Instead of continuing with my custom order, I've been advised to wait. I have mixed feelings about this as I was looking forward to having something rare and special, but it might be good news for us.

Acoustic/Violin Cpens are dear but not really RARE. I believe u can find esp. the Acoustic if ever u have the chance to go to China/Korea. But what truly r RARE to me r those good quality (good Kiso Hinoki wood!) hard to find Jpens. i.e. Koku super 10, Bty RSM, KTS red, Cypress Special...etc..etc...not to mention there r those Bty custom make Jpens...but the later r just too astronomically high priced gems n I'm not sure whether they really r playable or that good. They r to me just collectibles.
