I really like Andro's rubber chart set out.  I think other companies should make it this easy also.  I started on this thread because I am still searching for the holygrail backhand rubber.  Which rubber do you guys think is the best for backhand looping down the line and not heavy?

I'm thinking Impulse speed...

For me the most important factor in choosing a backhand rubber is its ability to loop down the line more consistantly.

My tenergy 64 still feels a bit quicker than spinny so often going a bit longer than I want when I am at the table.  It also still feels a bit too heavy...  I have tried a variety of butterfly rubbers for the backhand and I the butterfly topsheets are all very good with speed glue but a bit thick and heavy.  So I don't care so much about durability.  And hence rethinking trying ESN rubbers.

I think I want a rubber which has a higher spin than speed rating and is lighter so ,,,,, any one have suggestions?
Roxon 450 looks a bit expensive and possibly too quick aswell

well i wouldnt pick andro rubbers because they are really fast demolished,
maybe u should think about sriver g3 fx for backhand its a very good rubber

I have used 2 before = plasma 470 and impuls speed.  I found they were better quality that the donic desto series which really fell apart or had manufacturing faults.

As for g3fx Its got more speed than spin like most butterfly rubbers.
I've got solcion, speed fx, g2fx which I find are all more speed than spin and don't grip the ball as easily as the fragile topsheeted german rubbers.

For some reason I like dipper II soft, which seems to work for me well enough.  And it doesnt have that uncontrollable tensor or high tension feeling, it also is more spin than speed

I'm thinking especially for a down the line loop because the distance is shorter I want more spin than speed, but not tacky obviously.

Roxon 450 is one of my favorites and is was a very consistent performer for my bh, but I haven't used it in serious competition.
It has a lot of speed and spin, might prove too fast under pressure, but in practice and pick-up games at the club it is lovely.

well then id say tenergy 05 because with this one u can do slow spinny top spins and also killerspins but theres the prob with weight---u still want no heavy rubber?^^

What kind of backhand loop do you do? big swing with a high arc that lands not far over the net or fast and low kinda like a drive?

I do a variety of loops, most are big Kreanga style actions.  Some are super spinny some, no spin, some drive, some look like a loop but are more of a punch...  Everyone says my backhand open is my best part,  I just want to my backhand to hit their forehand wide down the line consistantly since I find so many players are great and sticking to the backhand end.

I dont know what has happened to my forehand, its great over the table but seems to fall apart in rallies.

Ah I see, yeah I'm one of those guys that plays wide over on the backhand side and covers the whole table with forhand loops, but the guys that have a good backhand punch can usually hit winners against me if the loop wasn't good :(
