TT,
Pingskills vid is much better. Your guy is not starting from the ready position. He is setting up for the flick before you serve the ball. Better to practice like it will actually be in a game. Thanks for the vid anyway. Will provide good discussion.

I like the term 'screw drive' as a variation. I know a player who is practising the screw drive. The ball is struck more to the back of the ball (7-8 O'clock) rather then underside as in the video. When done from 'off the table' it produces a big side-top kick into the BH. A nice trick he's adding is that he will sometimes go around to the 2-3 O'clock position which causes the ball to kick to the FH thus wrong footing the opponent.
