Schlager C-pen is available in two versions: The normal one and the other is X-CS, which is a bit larger/wider near the handle.

- Clipper wood, lite 1? yeah...right!
- Nittaku Septear Super Select Edn., less than 80g, Baby!
- Nittaku Ludeack
- Nittaku Violin
- Xiom Bolero? someth'n or rather
did i miss anyth'n worth mentioning?

I have an Xiom Icarus. Great blade. Nothing incredibly special about it, but the quality of construction is amazing. It offers decent speed, great feel, and it's not too thick. I switched from my Yasaka Offensive 40 to it about a year ago.

It feels much more solid than the Offensive 40, but to be honest, I play nearly as well with the Yasaka as I do now. It's merely preference at this point.

Violin is a nice blade with good control. But I think Bolero (from the specs) should be faster due to the carbon. Check the weight before you buy (my Violin is 77 grams). And why do you choose Bolero instead of Requiem ?

Reachie, the blade has a soft outer ply, so I suggest that you varnish it. you'll get serious splinters coming off from the blade.

I would be using Globe 999 and Hurricane 2. My style of play is looping. I have a very spiny serve, and I like to play the short game as well. Thanks. The reason I chose the bolero ove the Requim is that if you look at the stats, Bolero's only weekness is mid-distance loopong and that's not really my game, so it sounds better for me

i read some reviews of xiom blade from korean forum,

that is operating by a guy who works as blade design enignner in xiom...

he said bolero was designed to be used with pimp out rubbers...

and it's hard to find the light weight... they're kind of heavy.....

requim would be better choice to use with globe 999 and hurricane 2...

he also said requiem good for strokes using spins...

@kopen, haven't gotten it yet, relative bringing it back from China
@ju qian, you've tried the blade?  and i thought yeo has a hard outer ply, the construction is supposed to be the same as ye2, with hard outer plies, hard scandinavian plies, then soft center, with the main difference being it's thicker and faster, also, i don't speed glue... so splintering shouldn't be too much of a problem, right?
