You have to keep buying Bryce every six months! Not a good deal to buy cheap blades. Buy one that is good for you, not looking at the price if you can afford. Otherwise, buy used one like I do.

I'd honestly suggest to get a good decent used carbon blade from here, say, a not too heavy one hopefully n those decent rubbers (Inspirit or Inspirit Quattro) from Cole.
u r set!

you are better to buy used blades on here as it's cheaper than buying new also you will be able to sell it on here for a similar price you paid, then all you have to pay is postage to try a blade.
The only cheap thing I have ever bought in TT equipment that I used more than a few times is 802-40.
Take your time and get a good quality bladeWink

boss i slightly disagree with others.

cheap and expensive isn't a mark for quality anymore. With different economies in different countries cheap becomes expensive or expensive becomes cheap.  While germany would pay 30 dollar per hour and healthcare benefits to a basic worker ...china will pay only 3 euro per hour to its most skilled labor. and hence the price.

and then often the german or swed brands would actually buy private labelled products from galaxy or sunflex.

if i were you i would have choor from the huge variety of carbon blades of galaxy or some chinese company... and carefully pick the one that meets my requirements. eu or jp companies don't have such huge assortment as galaxy has.

good news is cole is planning to start storing galaxy... and sunflex you can get from some websites.

On the used blades thing, I'm beginning to find that some of the blades that are bouncing around from forum member to forum member are doing so for a reason.  There are lemons out there I know.  I've sold a few myself.  Usually if it's because of something like weight I'll sell it at cost.  Others I've taken back in trade and then resold cheap.

I have in a full stock of galaxy w1 blades now in st, fl and cpen.  At $60 I'd put them up against any carbon blade in the world.  I'm not just saying that.  I know it seems like of course I would say that since I want to sell them, but the truth is that I choose them to sell because they are the best I've ever tried.  I could just as easilly be selling something like dhs king or something.

I also got in a w2 to try.  I don't like it as well even though it's a bit more expensive.  It has a more prominent carbon feel and is faster.  I prefer the woody feel of the w1.  To me carbon should just do it's job of adding consistency through the blade face, but not be heard from.  I suppose the real reason I like w1 is because I can't feel or hear the carbon, except to notice that it adds consistency to my shots if I don't hit exact center.

So if you really WANT the feel of a carbon blade, don't get the W1.  You could get the w2 I suppose, but after this one I won't stock it.

I will also be honest enough to admit that it's the ONLY carbon blade I have that I really think measures up to the top level butterfly carbons.

W1's weigh between 85 and 88, but I have several to choose from so I bet I cound find 85 or 86. Truly this is the range they feel best at anyway. The handle is a conic flared. You can see it at www.colestt.com
