I was there at the US Open taping that match. After that point as the crowd came alive after seeing that point, I realized my camcorder was off! (I had been switching it off between games and forgot to turn it on again)

So far I am not happy at all with this website. I purchased the download link about 18 hours ago and have had no contact. I have emailed the person and used the website to try and contact them without any reply. poor customer service so far. Be warned. |

These videos are pretty decent. It would be nice to cover some more detail in the FH loops though for example. Like the videos don't discuss: (a) Angle of the face of the racket: I always teach it using the analogy of the tangent line of the trajectory of the ball, how the angle of the face of the racket (and the angle of motion of the swing) should be just several degrees higher than the tangent line at the point of contact (b) When to hit the ball: Regarding both the timing (just after the top of the bounce), and the placement (directly beside the body, not in front, not behind) I find these two factors to be of critical importance. Nonetheless, the videos are a good starting point. Good job! And hooray for offering it up for free! |

Thanks for the feedback. You raise some excellent points. For our videos on YouTube we really wanted to keep things simple and give the viewers just a few key points to focus on. In my experience I've found that if you try to introduce too many concepts at once it can be overwhelming. That's why we always try to show the start position and finish position. Once someone has been able to get these points right it definitely makes sense to cover the topics you have mentioned.
