Couga and hammond on hinoki blade

   I am currently using the nittaku septear (7-ply hinoki, I read plays like 7p-2a, seem to go well with sriver that matches the characteristic of 1-ply hinoki). my BH is off the bounce waldner-ish, and FH is driving more than looping, currently BH is 2.1 sriver and FH is H3, 42 degree.

H3 is too hard and not feel for my FH compared to BH offcourse. if I glue it then H3 feels great. I am kinda wondering:

1. is unglued nittaku hammond close to unglued bryce, only fraction faster than sriver on 1-ply hinoki blade? does it feel more like sriver el (around 40 degree?)

2. Has anyone used Juic couga before on 1-ply blade? seems to be harder (emprically at 43-44 degree, but the topsheet seems to be grippy to me, I used it once on a friends blade, it feel hard probably from his blade though)

any comments on this two rubber appreciated. thanks

	Couga: This is my favourite rubber of all times. I have played it on Joola Cat, Stiga Optimum + and Yasaka Balsa. Cat is a allround+ blade, wich couga works exellent with. Its got a tacky surface, but not extrem I would rate it as less then both Globe 999 and Dhs G 666. It has got an amzing speed even if its not speed glued. It spins nice, probably exellent, but I dont play with that much spin so its hard for me to tell. Considering its speed/spin ratio I would say that it has great control! I first tried my Optimum Blade with the Optimum MP rubber and decided it was too fast for me, I had no control what so ever. Then I gave the same blade a try with Couga... WOW! Now thats what I use for my Fh setup and it works great! As for the sponges, I am not into all that degree thing, if it feels good it feels good! My guess how ever is that its a rather hard sponge, I was told that at todays practise from someone who tryied the blade out. I for one loves this rubber and have only good things to say about it.

	speedplay, My concern with couga is exactly regarding the sponge... hinoki blade does not go well with very hard sponge due to the softer feel of the wood. i like H3 on my other all wood blade but it feel kinda dead on hinoki, eventhough some chinese people can play it this way. bryce is a good example where a japanese rubber (very soft sponge/hard topsheet) that will go well with hinoki, now, I don't really want spend 40 usd on a single rubber.....(in case I like it, I have change it every so often, and if I don't like it, a waste of money).
