This is the reason I scrapped the idea of getting these blades.  Now I have read this thread and I have to admit I am surprised that players in any numbers will accept such a high weight.   You really should talk to players that have used the Carbon Flex by CTTA, this blade blows doors on the V-6 by any standard, (feedback, weight, quality of wood, as well as control to power ratio).  The CTTA is made by the Son and Father of the old YinHe company that had broken off into 2 parts now.

It was regarding the RITC V-6 blade that was said to perhaps be a Xiom clone.  JimT seems to really like this blade and so do I.  The reason I ask about the CTTA Pro Tour is, I have an opportunity to get another V6 but would like to know about the CTTA before I get anther V6.  Is it really better in all aspects quality and play, or should I stay with the V6 So if anyone has tried it let me know what you think.  The best review would be someone who has tried both blades.  Although with only 100 V6's made this may be asking a bit much.

I've gone from a 100 gram blade to a 75 gram blade a couple of seasons ago and there's not THAT much difference really, sure ones a bit heavier but 25 grams isn't going to kill you, is it?

I'm not worried about the weight, the one that I may get is 89gr. which is lighter than the one I currently have.  I am more interested in the playability of the two blades.  Do I get a lighter version of my current blade, or do I get the supposed better CTTA?  That is the question that I was hoping to get some help with from folks that have played with a CTTA.

Hey guys, wasn't there somebody who promised us to get a good look at CCTA Carbon Flex and report? I think it must have been someone in that same thread that THEMANFZ mentioned above.

I should say that after playing for almost two months without interruption with my 1-ply hinoki WR-9 I am getting back to my V-6... and what can I say? It still plays great - just a tiny little tad perhaps not as soft in the short game as WR-9 but then again what is?

I actually went and got myself a second V-6 (three months back) just so I can try different rubbers on a spare. The second one is 91 g but it still feels the same, 2g doesn't make an iota of difference in this case.

Without looking, my recollection is that Tom from Zeropong said he was going to be at the US Open and would let people demo it there.

Yes I remember reading something about  the Vegas thing.  Doesn't seem like anyone went to try it however, or at least that tried the CTTA at least.  Too bad Tom at Zeropong can't let me try it out and then post a review of the blade.  This would be great! I wouldn't have to depend on someone elses review of the blade but rather try it out and say yep its for me or no I like the V6 better.  Wow it would be like Tzai's Modified KC, only you buy it if you want it. Now theres a marketing scheme if I ever heard one.  Provided everyone is honest and returns the blade of course Confused.

Well, you can try and email him with the suggestion but I doubt they will go for it... a bit too risky for a regular business like Zeropong. Perhaps he could at least tell us where he goes to tourneys and then someone from forum could turn up there as well and try his CTTA Carbon Flex.
