I want to buy a decent scale so I can weigh my setups and also in case I sell a blade or something I can be sure to report the correct weight.

Don't want to spend an arm and a leg on it, needs to weigh up to like 600g in case I start cooking like that Jamie guy in England and have to measre 500 grams of lentilsLOL

Also should be able to accommodate a TT blade without propping it up. I don;t know what that means, but I just don;t want to have to "rig" it to weigh it/

Any ideas?

Kitchen scales are cheap and very common. Make sure it has a resolution of 1g. Similarly postal scales are quite common, use for weighing letter and parcels to determine postage.

Not really, anything should do as long as it has the resolution and range.

You can try this site out, since they sell digital scales.

I'm planning to buy one myself one to weigh my blades anyway...and I was probably thinking of getting this one.

Way too much money.  Below are some cheaper options that you may want to look at.

I have this scale and it works just fine.

I have a Starfrit that cost $20 CAD from Home Depot, free shipping too. It works great, but for very light items (less than 10g) you may have to put a heavier object on it first, then put the object on top, and subtract the original object's weight from the total, because it can't handle very small weights.

I bought one on ebay for like 1 cent and $15 shipping and handling (yeah, that old trick).  Worked for like 3 years plus.  Just now shooting craps it looks like.

I got this one for around $40.  It measures in 0.1 grams:

This might fly as my wife will think its cool I got a scale to measure food....
yeah FOOD, that's the ticket. Free shipping at target, I wonder if this has the sensitivity down to one gram... has it been accurate for you?Lamp

This one looks a little more accurate... but has less "curb appeal" for my wife, it will be harder to get this in under the radar. How important is it to have the resolution of .1 gram, as long as it is accurate to 1 gram, that would be good enough for me... I'm thinking the Chefmate 3 in 1 is probably not super accurate, especially when compared to the above....hmmm decisions decisions.

You can call Will himself at 866-867-5400 to let him know what you're looking for.  They have a good guarantee and return policy as well.

Yes, it measures down to 1g resolution.  It works great.  Comes in two versions.  The fancy one calculates calories, fat, etc.  If you go with the wife angle, then the fancy one probably is better and it's called Chefmate Nutrition digital Scale.

I got the simple version.
