I got 3 fake Neo H3 (Top sheet and sponge separate) from
them last month, sent them e-mail with picture many times haven’t got any reply
yet. I did order many time with them before and this’s the first time have
issue. Just want to share my experience with you. From now on I
won’t deal with them anymore. ................. Pic added. I'm saying this, by what? 1. the picture might not that good to tell, but if you see the rubber you can telll is using different materil that the real one. Sponge and top sheet not elastic like the real one, when use scissors to cut it small nugget come out. 2. top sheet covering plastics liner the real H3 is very thin and will be roll up after pull it off, the fake one very thick, it stay flat after take it out. 3. edge not even, the top sheet about 2-3mm lager than sponge. I'm send out this post, basically give you guys a signal, don't surprise if you get something fake from them. I'd order over $1000 from them, maybe close to $1500. this is the first time I reciece something like that. I understand they might not sell fake produce in purpose, but shouldn't they reply your complaint? Edited by bayttplayer - 08/20/2012 at 9:53pm |

They are probably not fake, just a bad batch. it seems that TTNPP sometimes get rubbers made in China that have failed quality control. If you were to buy rubbers that are made in Europe or Japan, there should be no problems. I've also heard reports that Tibhar Grip-S, despite being from a European company, can also be of lower quality since it is a rebranding of Haifu Blue Whale and is made in China. Rubbers from Donic, Yasaka, Andro, Butterfly, Xiom, and some of the German made Palio rubbers (like Blitz and Thor's) should be completely fine. All of the other Chinese rubbers they offer can either be hit or miss from what I hear.
When it comes to communication, they are infamously poor at it. Especially when resolving issues such as this. They have many methods to be reached by but it seems skype has worked the best from what I've heard. The username is ohgnow Good luck friend |

I'm sure is fake you can tell the material is different, even the covering liner is much thick than the real one. |

Have you tried checking the serial number on the DHS website? That's the best way to ensure whether it is real or fake.

some good feedback in this thread.
including the serial #'s (all 20+ Hurricanes and TG3's I have purchased from TTNPP have passed the serial number test - and that's a better track record than several other well known vendors).
I have had some quality variation in TG3's/H3's, but usually when purchasing a Provincial or Blue Sponge version. And often, it was my own fault (overtune/bad glue job).

DHS fakes are popular to manufacture because for $2 in raw materials, you can make a product that will sell for $20. It's not like counterfeit ters carry the marketing and advertising costs that DHS does. And because it is DHS branded, it will sell. |

Fake DHS products are possible. But I don't think TTnPP want deliberately to sell them. Taobao is possible,...

1. From the packaging? Usually the print is rough and lower quality. 2. From the rubber? Also, it is looks and feels different? That's why I ask for the pics. |

I did ask the owner of ttnpp on skype about quality control and he told me that he gets Dhs rubbers "directly from the DHS Hong Kong supplier".
He has hundreds of DHS rubbers in stock so thats why theres 15% off all the neo rubbers, so I'm wondering: if the rubbers are left unused for too long, would they have different playing characteristics? |

I bought from TTNPP many times (probably $1000 over the 16 months) and never had a problem. The provincial DHS 3 Hurricane Neo I got was legit as well.

Wow, you beat me five times! lol I bought the 28USD provincial H3 and it is fine. So I ordered a 38USD neo provincial DHS 3 Hurricane last week. I wish it is better than the non neo version since I spent 10USD more. |

wow, that looks pretty bad, it's pointless to return the rubbers. Just file a complaint with paypal and get your money back

From what you describe, those sound fake.
Perhaps TTNPP needs to lean on his DHS supplier in Hong Kong. |

First post here but I have bought blades/rubbers/others from TTNPP many times, no problem at all. Although most of the time I didn't order DHS products. I'm here just to say that since you are having a hard time contacting them, you can write a review of the product on their website to warn other people and hope TTNPP owner can see it and double check his stuffs better. |
