It is good for pips player since it is very light and fast. Not much feed back for playing non-pip.

It's got a really soft feel and feels around OFF- in speed. It's fairly rigid which makes it more ideal for blockers/hitters, but with the soft feel I can still get plenty of spin. I agree it's particularly good for close-to-the-table pip players...(but I'm actually more of a chopper)

So for a traditional inverted player it would be good maybe like with a combo of 802.40 and may be an inverted rubber with softer or medium sponge?
Or like just for LP? |

I have one here. Haven't used it yet, though. Yes it's feather light!
My fellow guys are wondering whether it can perform.
But, I bought a Donic Cayman few years back, but it seems like it's not like what they have today in production.
I live here in Cayman Islands that's why for curiosity's sake, I bought this one.

In general balsa blades suits hitters/blockers more than loopers/choppers, so this is why it's recommended as a pimple rubber player. However with the right choice of rubber it can make a great looper (or chopper blade) as well, and can make a very light setup, which some people like (like me). |
