Exist stiff all-round blade? I love Stiga Classic All-Round so I'm looking for the same speed with a little less flex & more stiff.

Stiga Allround NCT, it has the same composition as Stiga Allround Classic with thicker veneers (6 mm) and smaller head, thus makes it stiffer while maintaining the ALL+ speed.
Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

Stiga Allround NCT was discontinued. I hoarded six, three AN and three Master.

Maybe Tibhar Samsonov Pure Wood? Has the required thickness.
Or Donic World Champion 89 Appelgren ALL+?

I've got my eye on the Stiga Evolution All-Around. it's like the All-around Classic, but with a harder top ply. It's probably ALL+ to OFF-.

I was not aware that Stiga Allround NCT was discontinued.   Thank you for the information.

Is Offensive Wood NCT discontinued too?

Yep .. I've played with it, although not with LP .. Quite a nice blade ... The only downside, for me, was the weight ...

I'm also looking @ the Allaround CR variant ... It's a wee bit stiffer, and also lighter

Maybe Joola Chen Weixing? I know of players using it with LP OX, and they would prefer stiffer. I also heard it is more Allround+ than Defensive.

Chen Weixing isn't a push-blocker close to the table.

If you like the stiga all round classic but all-round carbon is too fast maybe look for a Chinese clone of this blade with more thickness? It will be faster but usually less flexy blades are faster. It seems like you want the blade equivalent of the mythic rubber that is like an anti when blocking and high spin when you want a power shots.

The mythic rubber exist: DHS Hurricane H3, I'm looking for the blade....

if you can find one, the Balsa Carbo X5.  Very stiff and relatively slow.  The offensive rating is because of its stiffness not because of its speed.
I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...

I use hurricane long 5 with H3 blue sponge on FH and Dignics 09c on the BH, it is a spin monster that will produce ridiculous amounts of spin, and super controllable in the short game.

Guys I'm avoiding balsa because not good for FH Hurricane H3 spin, also the same for all carbon because it's too fast for my BH LP used as push-blocker close to the table.

I still feel that the Stiga Allround Classic CR  fits the bill ... Any particular reason for being averse to this recommendation ?

I'm not personally adverse to the All-round Classic CR, but I feel Stiga has recently developed better top plies than the CR coating thing, i.e., Evolution, Nostalgic, etc. Although I like the CR concept, I feel I can achieve those qualities with AFM BP Safecoat non-toxic sealant and UV hardening. Having said that, I would not pass up an FS thread opportunity for a good price on an All-round CR ST handle. ;-)

It's a good recommendation! I just feel there might be a couple slightly better options by Stiga. ;-)

BTW, I did pick up a Nittaku Violoncello. We'll see how that goes.

Haven't tried . . . probably like the original All-round Classic, but a little faster. Carbon does often expand the "sweetspot", but it also can reduct control and feel.

The CR SYSTEM is when the front part of the blade is UV-finished, which yields a reasonably increased speed to the ball.

I have Metal that's also front part of the blade treated with dust metal & don't liked the feeling.

I've played with the Allround CR, I did not find any noticeable increase in speed. However, I did find it stiffer than the regular Allaround

Blade stiffness (lack of flex)
and
Blade hardness (top ply rebound)

are two different things.

While CR blades are good for the plastic ball (hardness, rebound speed) they are not necessarily stiff.

Hope that helps.

Stiga All-round CR is less likely to splinter . . . although I would still over seal it. You're looking for stiff, so . . . it will be even stiffer with a slight bump in speed.
