HI RYNO, CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BTY-KTS AND XIOM-RSM RACKET. ARE THEY BOTH 10.5MM, PLEASE ADVISE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY ON TECHNICAL THINGS. I WANTED TO BUY THE XIOM RSM PLAT.SERIES BUT I AM AFRAID I MIGHT STILL END UP WITH BTY-KTS. P/S I HAVE ABOUT 25 PEN-HOLD RACKET WHICH I ONLY USE ONCE.

Welcome to the forum Patt! Since you have already 25 blades, I think it does not matter if you buy another 3 blades which are of high quality like KTS, Xiom Platinum RSM (or Giga Platinum) and the third is Kokutaku special 10 mm. These three would add nicely to your collection. Wink

The athena rsm is 10.0mm the KTS is 10.3mm.The kim blade feels faster and a little harder. The athena is a little slower and not as hard so it loops a little easier. The kim has more power from mid distance but the athena has a lot more control and works really well close to the table. The athena is a more balanced blade in terms of power and control compare to the KTS.If you wanted a blade more like the KTS but a xiom you would want the GIGA it is like the KTS except a hair faster it is 10.5 mm.Also i always warn people the athena plat RSM has a flat backside just how ryu has his blade so there is no cork block on the backside.which i prefer since i usually have to sand them off my other blades

Is it only for RSM that has no cork at the back of the handle ? That means Giga series has the cork like the normal J-pen ?

Hi GiftzaBerry, I sold already the Aeolus, I was not impressed with it. I prefer the Schlager Carbon.

I have a new Xiom Athena Gold RSM Special. The weight are 98 g before worked on Sand paper and afterwards 96,5g!
I think is a very good Blade for Close to Table Topspin, Countertopspin and Blocks. Good Control by a very fast speed.
