I just got my new Joo Se Hyuk from iruiru, but before I try it out, can anyone tell me if I should seal the top ply before sticking on the rubber?

Why not? I think it's always a good idea as long as the coat is real thin so that it does not affect the feel of the blade.

Thanks shij! I didn't think so, judging from the hard smooth top ply, but I just wanted to make sure.
