Is that with max sponge? Min sponge? Somewhere inbetween?

Those numbers are relative so it works for all rubbers of the same thickness.
For example, when you compare your Mark V and Sriver you come up with a rating. But the rating comes from comparing 2.0mm Mark V to 2.0mm Srive, not one being 2.0mm and the other 2.5mm. The 2.5mm and the 1.5mm rubbers have the same rating as the 2.0mm, the same scale factor, as it turns out. |

Generally Thicker sponge:faster, harder to control. Thinner sponge:slower, easier to control.
