@Kiok

If you do ended up ordering one from BumperNets, please let us know about the blade's quality (post pictures if possible) and their service.

Thanks in advance.

I had tried to purchase from Bumpernets.  They have only the new version.   Is there any other source?

Good to know.  Thanks.

You can ask gotabletennis.com.  I think 6 months or so ago they still had the red label ones.

I checked on the China website 666sport.com.  It appears that they only carry the new version.

Bummer.  I guess it's probably going for $400USD a piece now, if you can actually find one.

a light one would cost even MORE! So, KTS Red label owners, hold on to urs tight. I'm sure Gknight, Aeoliah, Ryno, MalvinC, Jpenlover n others probably all have 1!

No, I don't have KTS. In fact I have strong doubt that it will have the same or better quality compared to my Kokutaku. I came to this conclusion after seeing the pictures of RSM Platinum which is nothing special for me.

JPHolder, what is the weight of your blade ? I would appreciate it very much if you can post a picture of your blade without rubber, one on the blade face, and the second on the end of the blade face, the thickness side (so we can see the vertical grains). I believe that other single ply hinoki lovers would be interested to see it.

@jpholder, whether KTS is in good or bad condition, they r most probably in high demand (esp. in Asia, SE Asia) or ppl buy them for collectibles. Just bcuz it's KTS Red, most probably the kinda jpen used by King Kim who is now finito or retired n who has nvr won anything BIG therefore/as a result this makes this Red KTS so special. My personal/silly thought/view anyway!

Kim Taek Soo had gold medal from 1998 Asian olympic games, after defeating Liu Guliang, and Kong Linghui, who were number 1 and 2 at that time... big enough..

that was the only BIG 1. But it's well known that Chinese past/present coaching teams/commentators n inclu. me too, outta respect called him "The King without the Crown". We all can understand why he was jumping up n down when RSM won 2004 Olympic Gold.
I like to watch him played, or ever plays again.

I also emailed AKKadi Table Tennis Co.in Taipei,, which is selling a good selection of Jpen blades,   for old KTS, which  They replied that they sold out  long time ago.

The old KTS has many positive reviews in  table tennis forums.  Curiousy, only few reviews are made on the more expensive Butterfly Ryu Seng Meng.

I have both the old and new kTS. The old one is softer and the new one is harder and faster. Both of them are very good, much better than other JPens I have such as Darker 70, 90, and Kokutaku.
Blade: Butterfly TBS
Rubber: H3 Neo

What is the thickness of your Kokutaku, is it the Cho-Super Cho Tokusen like mine and what is the weight ? It is not available at iruiru website, we have to ask for the availability to iruiru.

@jpenlover
I think u've the "obligation" to post a group pic. of ur priceless possessions for all the jpens devotees to share.
@Aeoliah
I think it's just matter of time b4 we could lay our hands on a reasonably light weighted KTS Red or a discontinued Bty RSM or even a Xiom RSM platinum.
Also, I think there is a chance for me to ask some old frenz, who unfortunately dun play t/t, in my last country/old town to visit that old sport shop I used to go when I was a punk kid wherein I might find an old KTS Red or an old old Senkoh 1.
Patience is a virtue.
