Some questions about the production

   Hi
I'm working for my school project.
Does anyone know what way the rubber is made. especially how they get in it's form. I asume that it is some kind of die-casting the use but I'm not sure.
we found out that the sponge is some kind of cellular elastomeric composition but we don't have a clue how they adapt it to the rubber. probably they glue it, I don't know :(
We can't find a lot of information about the production proces and the automatization of it as well. So help is always welcome..
