I play penhold and i need some help. 1 what does a paddle for a penhold look like and 2 is there a diffrence between a chinese penhold and a japanese penhold. i think i am a chinese penhold but i am not sure. thank you. oh and i dont wanna start a new topic for something so small but what is officail size for a ping pong ball now?

Wow. That's a beautiful Cypress-S with perfect eyes on the the side which means very straight grains.

ok it did sound a tad odd. not a tad a bunch. but i'm new so when i hear something i am like ok i guess that's right but then i ask for clarification. does that make more sense at all? and i said I THINK so i'm not making a declaration
is the paddle bigger on a c pen? and how in the helen of troy do you use a jpen paddle?

He's obviously found himself using a regular shakehand paddle in a bastardized cpen grip... that's how I started and how one of my friends still insists on playing.
Jpenners hook their first finger onto the cork to give themselves extra grip when forehand driving. Cpen paddles sometimes have larger heads (the hitting area) and shorter but thicker and wider handles. |

i think your right. well what ever the case i just found to paddles downstairs. ad no one in my family is seriously into ping pong so i was like mom can i have these she was like go for it. so i use them. and the grip keeps coming off. so i've super glued the thing like for seperate times. not the whole thing just bits. and i have to say that's one rockin paddle the j pen. so should i saw off the end off my handshake paddle

On the penhold handle I cut down, I think I cut it to 3.25 inches. �I wanted about one inch of extra handle extending past my hand.
