I currently use 2.1mm Sriver ELs, I'm wondering how 1.9mm Bryce might compare.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of going to a faster rubber with a thinner sponge?

Xiom Stradivarius - Sriver EL 2.1
Andro Super Core Kinetic OFF+ - Plasma 380 2.0
Stiga Allround Evolution - Palio CJ8000 2.2

i think it depends on your arm speed a bit, thicker/slower rubber should have the potential to be faster than a faster/thinner sponge rubber.  thinner/faster rubber would have the more apparent speed, like that surprising, uncontrollable burst of speed on contact.  the thicker/slower rubber would feel like an allround rubber with a light tap, but full power swing, i believe a thicker slower rubber would ultimately outpower a thinner faster rubber.  this is comparative of course, i would never say that a lkt pro xt 2.2mm would outpower the bryce speed 1.9mm.  just my opinion.

So are you saying a thicker/slower should have more control?
