I am quite sure that even rubber cement will have no VOCs left after a
day or so, hence technically for a regular glue VOC free vs. regular
VOC is irrelevant. If you really want VOC free glue, BTY Free Chack resembles the most the normal glue (except it is white before it dries). It is a liquid rubber and it is not water based.

If you don't speed glue or tune and you don't change rubbers frequently then I would suggest using regular rubber cement from a craft store. They usually cost 8 to 9 USD for a 250mL can. Just like 7plywood said: "no VOCs [are] left after a
day or so."

I don't know any and I don't think there are
Yes. I don't think any VOCs are left after few days (at most).

I used water chack from butterfly to glue on my new sheets of Tenergy. However due to my error my b/h side did not stick. The one little tube of h2o chack is good for one application. I tried to use it for 2 lol and i regret it. Metalone is coming over my house tomorrow with some goo-gone which you can purchase at any rite aid or hardware store. Use a credit card to remove the h2o chack.

No new glues are like speed glue. If you just want some glue to stick rubbers down (even tuned taco shapes), get yourself some copydex and leave it to air overnight before attaching to the blade. It will stick anything down and it comes off really easily.

I have stiga victory glue, and for some reason it reacts nicely with the sponge of a rubber. Yet it is not classed as a speedglue, so im guessing it doesnt have high concentrations of VOC's, or any at all. So give that a try, its like 25 dollars for 400ml. Its nice and thick too so it sticks blade and rubber together very well, also it reacts insanely good when glueing with tuners.

Victory glue and any glue that makes a glue sound or alters the sponge in ANY WAY will become illegal in September.

I think the whole "ban everything because it gives an advantage" thing is absolute bs. Initially they were banning for health reasons, and thats good, so companies became flexible and released tuners, which are great btw, its a safe alternative to speedglueing and isnt messy or massively time consuming. Now they're banning just because they can, this whole slowing down the game thing is crap, there are players out there who accel at fast game, and if that means they are the most 'elite' from the elites then they should be recognized, not brought down to par with the slower people. Besides, the really long rallies these days are the spectacular ones, slowing the game down will make these rallies seem boring.

You don't need to air it before gluing. Glue it normally as you always do.

Sort of. If you play in a tournament where your blade is checked, make sure you attach your rubbers to the blade few days before. VOCs will be gone by then.

I think I've been gluing on with rubber cement that is too thick. What effect will thinning it do to the rubber? Like what is the difference that I will notice?
