can I use Friendship 563 without sponge? I been using med pips for a longtime and didn't want to change to LP, But do want to start chopping, I think it might be more fun any info will be helpful !! Thanks

Using 563 without sponge is perfectly fine in a tournament! Chopping with OX 563 is a fine and easy thing to learn, it's fairly similar with chopping with classic OX short pip. There aren't much of the deceptive effect as one might think, but it gets the job done nicely.

Globe 888, I use sometimes for chooping, although it is not that great but once in a blue moon it is OK.

Also Palio WP1013 medium pips on 1.5mm is very good medium pips for chop

Thank you all, I use med pips on bh for a long time, I just want to start chopping, I block and hit with med pips, but found chopping fun, I do not know anything about LP, but know that its hard to attack with.
