There is a big mistake: Ayous is NOT a stif wood. Ayous is a soft, flexible wood, great for spin-rich loopers. Ajous is used very often for the core of the blades. Sometimes as well for the outer plys, with with similar characteristics as Limba.

I believe that japanese cypress is the same as hinoki.

I think that chart was copied from the Butterfly website and has been around a while without updates. That may be why it doesn't offer all different wood types.
