Whats so special about them?

   Hi guys , i was just wondering whats so special about those 1 ply woods hinoki or something like that... for example the brand koktaku or something.. whats so special about those blades.. is it like extreme feel in them + good speed or are they for defs? :O are they worth buyin? :O :D
