What have you got to back up that statement?
 
That a thing is more expensive than the other does not always mean it's more durable..
 
A mtb frame made from carbon is much more fragile than a mtb frame made of steel.
 
The one made of carbon performs better, but the one made of steel is a lot harder to break!
 
(Just in case you didn't know, carbon frames are a looot more expensive!)

Thanks for all the input guys.  I eventually went with the Quattro UL with the softest sponge (35 degrees).  It will probably play slow but hey, I could use the extra control at this point.

I find  Inspirit Quattro still not as fast as real tensors and high tension rubbers etc (different brands call different names... so hopefully this terms are not mixed up)
