Stiga claims that their new NCT blades are designed 'for the glue ban'. What does that mean? Has anyone tried these blades? Are they really supposed to mitigate some of the effect of the ban?

It means they want your money and think some BS marketing hype will get it for them.  Secondarily, it means they made the blades a little faster, that's all.

Was going to get Offensive Wood NCT, but then i'd have to get the regular version to compared it to... Tried optimum plus and hybrid wood but didnt like them (especially the opt) so kind of holding back on stiga blades for now...

I think it's the same blade, with slightly better finishing and different handle..
They might change the head size or the thickness or something to make it a little faster.. then call it NCT just to make it sound cool.. Cool

Well I was hoping for a review or something more substantive. I'm aware of Stiga's history of pumping out really bad rubbers to take your money. But usually their blades are top quality.

Try doing a search for Stiga and NCT.  There is some more info around.
