Does anybody know what differences this rubber is suppose to have compared to the 05 version?

Is this 25 going to be lighter than the 05?

T25 is a touch faster and slightly slower in spin compared to T05.  Both will still be at 36degrees.

Kind of my main issue with this rubber too, i'd use it if it was lighter!

the numbers mean how many people were fired from butterfly in the process of making the rubber.

it's heavier than most rubbers, but it's not that heavy if you do regular training in the sport.

According to a dealer, T25 has larger pips than T05. They guess that the former is harder and heavier than the latter.

Speed and spin indexes are shown below (from Butterfly catalogue).

            T25       T05
speed   13.25    13
spin      11        11.5

Both T05 and T25 use the same sponge.

If the pips on the T25 is larger, maybe the numeric value relates to how large the pip is T05 < T25 < T64 - just a thought.
Gave up listing, too many changes.

FH - Rubber Black

I think that Bty has  lost the leadership in rubbers.
At this time Stiga Boost TC is much better rubber from all Bty new generation rubbers in terms of spin, speed , control and durability.
At this time also only Stiga and Bty produce their new technology rubbers in Japan.
Donic, Tibhar, Joola, Andro, Xiom even the japanish Nittaku and Yasaka produce their new technology rubbers in the German factory of ESN. ESN products are very bad, the local distributors of Tibhar and Andro sighned contract with some good players. If you ask these players, allthough they should say good words about their sponsoring product, they will say that after 10 days of practice they want new sheets.
Bty new technology rubbers are much better than ESN products.
But they aren't better than Boost TC.
I think is the first time in modern era that Bty has clearly the second place in rubbers. Clearly.
I hope that the forthcoming Tenergy will save the pride of Bty.
For a company like Bty only the first place is the target.
If you disagree with my opinion , please try a Boost TC.
I'll start a new pol with this issue.

Is there a topic or summary of how long does this tensor type rubbers last? I have read that its a month of playing, some even says only a week. Only a few says that it will last more than 3 months but you will have to put extreme care on your rubbers.

what the heck is 0.25 difference in speed? how the heck we suppose to know or feel that tiny difference in speed? LOL
And 0.5 difference in spin??? Wacko
But looking at that, logically T25 is a bit firmer feel than T05.
Still looking forward to T64. I am a great believer in the old saying 'saving the best for last' Bty is saving the best for last so they can earn money from EJ's first LOL

I doubt that since its such a limited market, and tenergy has been in the works for about if not more than a decade.
