I was glueing rubber from one blade with bigger head into another with a smaller head and had to cut a thin slice of rubber to make it fit. I was suprised to find that this change reduced my setup by 4grams. This was about an 1/8 of an inch.

Definitely worth doing to lighten up the blade. I needed to make a consistent weight because I have a tendency to switch the grip slightly with heavier blade.

80 + 45 + 45 = 170g for my latest setup.

My latest blade is slightly lighter than my last, and I'm using the same rubber. This seems to make this latest racket feel slightly more head-heavy. But also more stable when blocking.

I'd also add playing frequently for long hours, not just tournaments.

Since I don't train, I just play millions of games day after day and if I have a heavier bat I just can't swing and get 20% of the shots I would with a lighter blade.

Also my wrist always says sorry na thats enough now.

I just weighed my t05 ishlion +bryce speed which I am retrialling and it feels a perfect 170g.  Really ideal.  The old backhand punch and drive through any old spin has come back real quick.

is that head heavy?

Yea it was pretty head heavy but surprisingly more balanced than you would imagine.

I've moved on to testing K-4 with 2x 2.0mm inspirit which comes out at 200g.

You might think that is way too heavy but it is very balanced and I can generate a rediculous amount of spin and power..

My blade is at 80. You should seriously consider getting innova ultra light for backhand with 90 gram carbon blades. Its like 30 g cutt, light but its still good enough for BH.

My current setup is around 177g which, to me, is neither too heavy nor light. This set-up gives me a good mid-distance power and control.

But I think I any combination below 170g will be ideal with the long hours that you put in.

190g. I don't think it is heavy. BTW for all those who are whining about their 180g rackets being too heavy I have one advice:
Work on your footwork. If you think moving your arm around is the biggest energy cost - there must be something seriously wrong with your footwork.
