    Posted: 06/18/2009 at 12:30pm
Here are some of the PF4 blade types:

PF4-08

7 ply allwood

PF4-32

5 ply allwood

PF4-08 New Version

7 ply allwood

PF4-920
Very nice looking top...

5 ply allwood? the middle layer looks very very thin...

Big and comfortable AN handle.

PF4-963
is this where tenaly got it's inspiration? lol

Not in the pictures are:
PF4-85
5 ply allwood
looks like the PF4-32

PF4-32 New Version
5 ply allwood
new handle and logo design
looks like the PF4-08 New Version shown above but differ on the # of plies and speed category.
The 08 is classed as Offensive while the 32 classed as All-Round.

I didn't have the time to photograph the PF4-85 & PF4-32 New Version when I was taking those pictures and now I'm just too lazy to photograph these two...

Anybody knows any info about these blades?
Characteristics?
Are they worth buying?
etc.

These blades currently on loan for photographing, but if they're good I'll buy them...

those old pf4 shakehand blades are very rare. It's impossible to find them these days.

Nice PF4's especially the 08.  Really nice blades to have in your collection.

funny because when i bounced a ball on the blades the old 08 was the least good... the new 08 had better speed and stability...

For playing purpose only the old 032 is worth buying. The other models are good for collection purpose.

i've played with the old 032. Also have tried 08, 018, 020 and 88. Old 032 the one with polished handle is VERY fast. One of the fastest all wood blades I've tried.

hi thylacine... i haven't played with any of those i mentioned above... but when i was bouncing ball on them the 32 was among the slowest... and on the newer version the 32 was classed as all-round compared to 08 which was put in offensive...

I have seen someone in my club with the same style blade as the PF4 with the curved handle kinda thing. I always wanted to try a blade like that, it seems like it would be pretty nice to loop with.

032 is the blade of Champion Deng Yaping. Are her pips (RITC 755) banned now?

Is the Tenaly style blade still in production?  Where can I find one of those for purchase, and how much do they go for?
