Anyone has tried both thicknesses?
It used to be, the thinner the sponge, the more control there is. But I've read some places that this is not true with Tenergy series, and it plays better in 2.1 than 1.9.

I tried T64 with 1.9mm as well as 2.1mm and did not feel the difference
coz T64 is really bouncy and 0.2mm does not make huge difference. On
the other hand, I can feel the difference between 1.9mm and 2.1mm of
T05 in term of spin.
I also saw hitters/smashers play with 1.9mm or even 1.7mm sponge and loopers prefer 2.1mm. |
