I think that there is an Amultart SI (and some other newer blades from Bty, but I can't remember which)... Check here the Handle Style of Amultart:http://www.iruiru.com/e/ba/
Blade: OSP Virtuoso-L RST 87gr

I think that I have also seen it at Butterflyonline months ago and a photo of the handle also. There is an older thread about this handle, so you may find more information there...

There was a time when handles were offered with flare on one side and straight on the other.  I think Butterfly and Asti both offered this in the past, I haven't seen it in years.

SI : Straight Inclined..

the handle is like a straight handle from the blade head. then on the bottom on the handle it become more wide like Flared (FL) handle.
so it is a more skinny version of FL handle..

SI = Straight Inclined
SI is a round straight handle.

ST = Straight
ST is straight, but it has square feel of the handle.  I like the ST better.

NOTE:  This system is being used by Butterfly ONLY.  I haven't seen any other manufacturer using this system.

SI = Straight Incline.

At the bottom of the handle it is just like a ST handle. When you get towards the blade, the handle gets flatter, like an oval vs. a circle or square.

The top of a Butterfly SI blade feels like a stiga ST blade.

If you lay the blade on a table and look straight down, it looks like a ST blade, but from the side you can see it gets flatter towards the blade.

I don't know why they do this. Cuts down the weight? for smaller hands?

You have to look at the side view to notice. from that view it is straight. but from the side you can see it taper towards the blade.

Yea at first it's hardly noticeable side by side from the side view until I look at the top of the handle. ST handle is fat all the way bottom to top. Hotlinking!

SI vs ST. Image edited from Butterfly Korea.
