I've watched this match before, I tried to look up all the good and up and coming players from the Americas and Marcos came up as the top from Mexico.

Wow!
Marcos Madrid has improved a lot!
I lost to him 4-2 in CAC 2008 in Colombia (probably one of the best games I ever played) but since then his backhand drives have gotten a lot more powerful. His touch game was always good and for him to give Ryu such a good fight is amazing.
I Know Ryu was cruising, but it really is heartening to see this youngster improving to this level.
