from other side at TT11 you buy anything you want while at Dandoy it must be 4 same rubbers. so can't compare. not many people need 4 same rubbers

If you need 4 different rubbers, you can still benefit from Dandoy, because their discount policy is the almost the same as at TT11 (if not even better, since >250EUR=25%). Not to mention that, from my personal experience, Dandoys delivery time was always much shorter than TT11.

However, TT11 customer service, assortment and weekly specials are top notch.

on dandoy  they said "general comments:discounts aren't applied on special offers "

this means that 3=4 doenot apply on the general discounts?

did tt11 do the same as regard special offers?

I would like to buy rubbers from Dandoy "Buy 3 Get 4" . Does Dandoy ships 4 pieces rubbers with box or just wrap it with bubble foam + postal paper? I had bad experienced with rubbers courier service, heavier parcels were placed on top of these 4 pieces rubbers wrapped by bubble paper, and end up damaging 4 pieces rubbers. This is always happen if you buy rubber from TTNPP.com.

Don't trust Tenergy rubbers that are very much below the Butterfly market price.  The company is very cautious about who they allow to sell their products and so if the price you see is much off the standard (anything more than a few dollars) it is usually fake.

Butterfly saves a bunch of table tennis equipment retailers in USA. Without the help of Butterfly, many probably will not buy anything from megaspin, paddlepalace and other retailers with the huge price gap between them and other abroad retailers.

It appears that no US retailer tries to do anything (price wise) to attract more buyers.

Good company doesn't always mean having a better deal but also better customer service.
You can tell which company is good when some problems come up.

I'd like to share my recent experience.
well,,, just let me tell my conclusion first.
DON'T trust Dandoy Sports. Their customer service is BAD.

As I mentioned above, when some problem shows up we can see which company is good or bad.
A month ago, I purchased some rubbers from Dandoy and they shipped to wrong place. I asked them send me a replacement or refund. I did call U.S. Postal Service also and U.S.P.S. said that sender must contact the U.S.P.S. to change the destination address.
I told Dandoy that you have to contact the u.s.p.s. or send me a replacement or if you cannot solve the problem, just refund.
Since I mentioned I want refund, they just stopped contacting me and ignoring my calls.

You know, as long as you get what you want, most of us think they are good companies..... but the truth reveals when you got problem. I did have same problems with other companies like Megaspin or TT11, their service is good because they just sent me a replacement or refund.

Again, avoid Dandoy if you want to have a decent service when your items go wrong.

It appears that you have problems with more than one company.  Your story also doesn't seem quite right.  Could it be that the problems that you seem to have with dealers are not problems caused by them.

It's extremely rare for me to have a problem with a company, and when I do they always make it right.

Why do companies take care of my problems, but not yours?

Since your 1st post here is a complaint about Danboy, it appears that you're trying to get even with a company that you feel has wronged you.

How did you ascertain that your package was shipped to the wrong place?  The USPS tracking site doesn't give that level of detail.  If the shipping address is correct and you didn't receive the package, it is possible your package was stolen.

USPS will only deliver to the address on the label.  Assuming the address was correct but misdelivered, a complaint to the USPS will usually get it redelivered to the correct address.  You have to give them the tracking number and they will usually retrieve and redeliver the package within a couple days.

On the other hand, if the shipping address on the label was incorrect but the correct address is on the invoice or the package was indeed stolen, then Dandoy should reship or refund.  They should have insurance to cover such events.

However, if the shipping address on the label does match the address on the invoice, then I can understand why Dandoy is ignoring you.

That you asked the USPS to change the destination address is fishy and makes me think shenanigans are at play.

It also appears that TA joined MyTT for the main reason of trashing Dandoy. This is his first post.

All I can say is no TT vendor ever shipped my stuff to the wrong address, and so the idea that three different vendors have done it to this guy seems..... odd.

Dandoy has not been perfect. But they are a lot better than they were 8 years ago

This story is so full of BS, it hurts to read. Don't feed the troll. This person is also clearly not living in the US. I've never heard someone residing here refer to it as U.S.P.S..

You must be young or not in business.  I refer to the us postal as USPS.....because there is also UPS and I use both.  So I frequently call the postal service USPS when I write it out for 100% clarity between the two.

...but yes....sketchy story there from the one time poster.

EDIT.....sorry h0n1g ...after looking at your mytt entrance date.....you are most likely not young and are a cherished member here!  Thumbs Up

Actually most Americans write it USPS, not u.s.p.s.  But of course there are a lot of non-native English speakers living in the US and I think TA is clearly not a native writer of English.  That is not what makes it seem fishy to me.

I should point out that there was once a time when there were quite a few complaints about Dandoy customer service, in particular that they would charge a credit card immediately for an order of an item out of stock and would then be slow in delivery, and also their communications were bad.  This was around 2007-2009 or thereabouts.

BUT, the majority of recent reports are that they have been very much better for several years now as they upgraded their website.  Their prices are very good and they do a lot of business with MyTT members and if there was any systematic problem NOW, we would hear about it frequently.

People should not react too much to a single bad report about any TT vendor because some people really do have unrealistic expectations (or seem to have more problems than anyone else on the planet).

Two vendors that are pretty much beyond reproach are megaspin and (especially) TT11.  And yet, I have seen an occasional isolated complaint about TT11 -- a company that always goes out of their way to accommodate customers!!

Tabletennisonly.com, Paddle Palace, Zero Pong and colestt are also very good vendors.  There are probably many others.

Some people just don't know a good thing, they simply know how to complain. No-one can hold out for universal popularity and nor should they.

TT11 as you said have amazing customer service. Every time I've asked a question, i've received a response with half a day. Every time i ask a question, i inform them nicely that they are brilliant and all the people i play with who are looking for some gear get referred to them with rave reviews and THEN ask my question.

My reason for doing that is to show my appreciation of them, partially so they see that going above and beyond
is appreciated and partially due to selfish reasons [that they keep up their great work - it'd be better if more
companies were like them].

I like paddlepalace's selection of blades.

Our club recently got a table from megaspin.net which was a great table & great price.

It does kinda irk me that paddlepalace & megaspin will charge you 5 bucks shipping for a single rubber. For that reason I prefer ColesTT & Zeropong where it's only a dollar.

For more unusual stuff or things that are harder to find, I really like ebay member china-friend who i think is affiliated with eacheng.net . IDK. but he's great and somehow gets me my products in about 10 days which is amazing given how far away he is from me.
