He never cuts his nails. Every time when there is a close up on his serves, I see his long nails...

May be he needs the finger nails to dig into the backhand rubbers with the his grip.

He gets them done, they are too even in length and too clean to be unmaintained. Based on observation, they look like female nails that are not nail polished.

+1, back in asia, the Philippines in particular, I use clay, here in the states I could only conveniently find Gel... :P
