Both of them were discussing technical things, nothing about a retirement.
They basically said WLQ sucked in the short game (6-7 pts lost outright in return, hard to recover in best 3 of 5, 11pt game), he should of been less aggressive there. And his backhand couldn't stay in topspin rallies.

Is it just me or everyone sees that Lei Zhenhua's serves are pretty close to hidden serve ? I mean he left his left arm nearly in front of the ball...If ITTF President said that Ma Long was the player that pushed the rule furthest to the limit then now he has another competitor, LOL !

http://mytabletennis.net/Forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=32467&PN=1 the post at the nearly end by johnny89atc, he referred to what Adham said in the thread about serving like me, but I based on his post for my post.

Actually, just found the whole thing : ''
It really does not matter if right-handed or left-handed, the important thing is for the point of contact between the ball and the racket to be visible. I asked this question to the National Coach of Germany who has both types of players on the team. he said that the players can clearly see the point of contact. Actually Timo Boll usually throws the ball backward, but he keeps the point of contact visible and that is what the players look for.

The player who pushes the envelope to the extreme is Ma Long, but again, as I said before 99% of the time the top players can see the point of contact. '' Adham Shahara. Link: http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26382

for a moment i thought wang hao was playing lei zhenhua, but it says "hao shuai" on the shirt, so i guess hao decided to play wang righthanded!!

an obvious attempt at a dump on the part of hao!!  Big%20smile

yeah, his arm is in the way, but in most of the cases, i would say that wang was able to see the ball at the moment of contact.

at any rate, hiding the serve didn't help him.  hiding serves is not an issue if you're not really doing anything on the ball that would bother your opponent.

Zhang Jike vs. Wang Liqin... WOW what a battle. I think that's the most intense I've ever seen Zhang Jike. He must have been mad about losing out on all that sweet prize money to his teammates in Qatar and Kuwait.

Please , don't post direct links of cctv.com . I made this mistake previously and it ended that cctv.com now streams at 400 k instead of streaming at 800k as usually .We risk the new videos could be loaded only on the domestic server overseas.com for a long period . Fixpoint docet .

Could anyone, upload the rest of quarter full matches, as NickoRulez yesterday did?

Wang Liqin vs Zhang Jike ...
Wang Hao vs Lei Zhenhua ...

Thanks in advance

The women's final was more decisive than the men's semifinal - and it was a great match!! I hope someone will upload it.

Not sure why the women switched to best of 7 though.

If I understand well, (semi) Chen Qi vs Ma Long is the only men's match doesn't exist on CCTV5.
Is that right??
