Conspiracy theory: maybe after the last two tournaments Liqin has more points than Boll and they are trying to keep him on the 4th place.
 Reality: maybe they just forgot to update the rankings. Last year they skipped February. |

wow did the ITTF really forget last February? I would probally think that the ITTF had no reason to update them, the rankings may have stayed the same (even though the point tally would be different) Just a theory that i have come up with in economics class

Despite of the fact that it is written that the list if from January below it is written that the last update is made on 1st March.

No, 1/3/2010 means January 3, 2010. This isn't just an "update", they're making major changes to the way the ranking is calculated, and there seem to be technical issues they haven't been able to resolve yet.
