A: Wang Liqin was caught, yet all the other chinese had the same loud sound as him. Ermm

B: If the measure the size of logo, and thickness of rubber, how else is the speed glue supposed to effect??(or do they play with 1.8 or something?)

Thanks.

they don't measure if someone is using speed glue by the specifications of the rubber, they test if someone is using speed glue by the sound, and the smell of the glue is pretty obvious.

When was he caught?

The new generation rubbers, even the Chinese ones, have the click sound but they're not glued. They may be glued by the manufacturers in a permanent way but not by the players.

I'm pretty sure they hired that famous guy with really big nose to sit around and sniff paddles all day. I hear it cost the tournament organizers over $20 Large.

as funny as that sound, that was what they were doing in a local tournament here, somebody smell the paddle for speed glue, since they cannot afford buying too many of the enez.they only have one enez. I asked the organizer, and he said if they actually follow the ittf rule, they are required to have at least one enez per table. so if the tournament is using 10 tables then they need 10 enez if they want to abide to the ittf regulation. is this true?

I don't think WLQ speed glued and got caught... I think DHS gave him an over tuned sheet and he suffered the consequences of not checking the thickness of the sponge himself before the match.
