I would like to know where you get boosters. at an affordable price. I prefer optimizer two by butterfly.

I've decided that to get really any glue feel out of the new boosters, you have to give up too much control.  I noticed this first with the old "water based" tuners that werent' really like tibhar clean tune.  Really bouncy, different sound, more speed than spin.

If I could still glue with carbon based I would, but I decided to just go to a firmer sponge and give up and I didnt miss it one bit at the tournament last weekend - versus the "tuner" that is.  I still miss the old glue.

I bet there are people who have gallons of the old stuff in their basements - they could sell it to you for peanuts, or just for S&H.

Try Ultra-Pure Lamp oil, it works pretty good especially on harder sponged Chinese rubbers. It only costs $5 and if you don't like it you'll have plenty of light in your home LOL. If you do decide to use it then there are plenty of posts in forum about how to apply and tune rubbers.

Ultra Pure Lamp oil is inexpensive. However,  if you do a poor job applying it, (uneven application) you will get erratic performance from the rubber.

I dont think I'll ever buy anything other than just rubber cement again, not paying freakin $20 for a tiny bottle of cheap glue...
