Picture from English Open 2011. Yellowish sponge forehand. Maybe some Nittaku rubber?

maybe her coach/training partners had influenced her to use HK?
I personal think HK is a good blade, but doesn't worth $165USD. It should be priced at around $90 to compare with other good wooden blades.
HK is probably faster than Korbel, clipper wood, a little too heavy+stiff for most people. I would choose Korbel.
Has anyone gotten HK in 86~89g range?
The ones I've used were like 95~98g.

This is apprently the same type of blade used by Jiang Jialiang, it has a few signatures on it from famous former players.

I have some amazing pictures to upload, but sadly they are too large. How do I bypass that? I have Kasumi Ishikawa using the Hurricane King, Jiang Huajun with Stiga V-1 and Tenergy 05, and Hirano Sayaka with her custom Adolescen (she used that blade for almost her entire career, and only stopped using it once butterfly stopped making it) |

Patrick Baum is easily using a butterfly blade. You can see the small dip on the plis where the silver tag is meant to be and you can see the arylate carbon. It could be a TBS, TB ALC or Viscaria.

I am truly amazed at the amount of Tenergy 05 being used.
Why is it not rated highly on the Table tennis database-it is only in the top 50 for being voted the best-its first.. For speed and spin, durability and control its not rated highly?????? Why? |

liang1983 if you are really asking this, you are the very reason why companies can claim whatever they want and people will buy. You are the very reason it works, but if you don't believe it there are many out there that sees it and goes buy it hahaha.

I believe Liu Shiwen is playing with BTY Photino instead of Korbel at English Open 2011.
and also according to this picture, Chen Qi was not using the national h3neo blue sponge at the tournament Edited by vutiendat1337 - 01/31/2011 at 1:40am |
