Found this on youtube and decided to share with you the skills of this kid. His name is Joo Geraldo and recently won the Spanish Youth Open.
He's 57th in the Under 15 World Ranking. In the semi-finals he beat the second best european player-Leonardo Mutti.
Enjoy

That final shot is beautiful. That kid is, obviously, awesome. Unfortunately, he's 14 and already wearing a knee brace...? Not a good sign for the poor guy. Ouch

Hopefully it was from a temporary injury and not a chronic problem. Fourteen is too young for chronic knee problems.

Very Impressive.  Impressed with his power generation seeing as he's quite a small kid. BH is very fluid as well.

that kid is very good, that shot at 0.30 against the most promising dutch player (Koen Hageraats) is very nice, same for that last point also against koen. I like the fact that he's left handed, he has very good power for such a little guy, he's quick on his feet and very energetic. His backhand is simply amazing. This guy will become a top 100 player for sure.

Quite impressive. However, I'm quite used to this, as most Swedish juniors here play like him, maybe a little less aggressive but the style is similar but this guy seems to have a more balance in speed/spin ( still favor spin though ). In addition, if he could develop his physique more, he could even go further than this. But it's certain that he has smooth techniques and good footwork.

I think he hits quite hard for such a little guy, most guys his age don't hit that hard. Physique will come with age.

That kid is probably ~2400 USATT rating. (He's between Alex Yao and Charles Deng on the ITTF U-15 world ranking.) VEry good. When he goes through puberty his game will skyrocket.

wow you're very cricital, IMHO his forehand is not weak at all, compared to other 14/15 year old boys(for example Koen Hageraats top european cadet player).

Well maybe 14-year-olds just play like that. I was comparing his BH to his FH and it looked his BH hit harder...

So if I wanna criticize him I must put up someone better than him at his age? What kind of logic is that? Even if he was the best of the world at his age he still can be criticized, right? And why do you call the young Chinese players sausage?
