He did it, the ABOVEdog did it. What a match, Tiago reminds me with Samsonov and OH Sang Eun. I hope he can add more power to his strokes.
If he can keep this form he can be a threat to the chinese throne.

Very interesting tournament overall and huge win for Tiago. He beat the rock-solid Chen Weixing and the young star Matsudaira, but who whould expect that he's able to overcome the one and only Timo Boll too?

Oh Yeahh.... can't watch the match but a result I was looking for
 On some videos I watched some time ago, Apolonia played really well against Boll and his play against Qiu Yike also very good. He has a Chinese coach now, i believe (saw the coach in his earlier vids), so it's possibl he is using Chinese rubber, though we should wait for a clear picture to be sure of that... |

No chinese rubber or chinese coach fo Apolonia. He is coached by Anders Johansson at Ochsenhausen and he plays with Korbel blade + Tenergy 05 (FH). At final aganist Timo, Marcos Freitas was helping Tiago as his coach. |

congrats to my favorite player and friend tiago apolonia!
 some luck in the players he had to play but overall he played a great tournament beating some tough players and confirming the great shape hes in this season. the final against timo boll was amazing, he had faced timo so many times and never was able to beat him, now finally he did, at the best time possible, in a pro tour final...

I have noticed lately that forummers almost stopped uploading full clips to the file servers. Even those that are available on itTV which are pretty easy to copy (see one of the sticky threads in Video section). Just one or two of us are not enough - please do your own little share (upload 1-2-3 videos, just don't forget to name and comment them properly) and we will thank you all!
