TBS vs TB ALC vs Innerforce ALC.
I have played all of these blades but the TB ALC. I was wondering what the difference was for the TB ALC? The TBS and Innerforce ALC are completely different beasts to me. Innerforce has a ton more control and possibly less speed even though it is not rated that way on butterfly's site. |

Timo Boll ALC is slightly harder and faster than Timo Boll spirit. While I can play with hurricane 3 39 degrees on timo Boll spirit I can not have the same control with the Timo Boll ALC. You can understand the Tenergy series of rubbers potential with Timo Boll ALC while Timo Boll spirit can not maintain the same performance.
Both are very high quality and very stable blades if you can control them. |

among timo boll and innerforce series... the best feeling blade i played with was the Innferforce (no not ZLC) T5000.
It's so disappointing that this blade will never be popular since butterfly stupidly mis-rated the speed as 10, while it should have been 8.8 (just a hair faster than TBS/TBALC).

tb alc and tbs are identical in construction and materials, just rebranded and knocked up in price. the balance on a tb alc is better though, if that is worth the money to you.

I was using 05 and 05FX or sometimes Skyline 3 Neo and 05FX. I should explain that I have been blade hopping for about 6 months now. For almost 15 years I have been playing with a good old fashioned Primorac Off- with zero technology to it. When I finally needed to buy a new blade I realized (after buying 8 Primorac Off-) mine was the best of the bunch.

I completely agree that these are quality blades. I am despite my footer, playing the Innerforce ALC at the moment. It is slightly too slow, but the feel/feedback is awesome!

The ratings are horrible! My good old Primorac Off- is faster than TBS and Innerforce ALC for sure, but Butterfly rates it much lower. BTW, since my Innerforce ALC is slightly slow you may have just talked me into a T5000. I hit with Barney's at nationals and was shocked at the feel and control, but I never thought to compare it to the ALCs. Actually Barney may have been using the TB style, but I am not sure. Thanks for the heads up on the 5000 |
