Got a piece of unverified info that starting from the early First of July, prices of Tenergy will go down by 20%.

A 20% decrease?? That mean's the price will decrease to roughly $58?? That'll be amazing!

What?  The two sheets of T05 I have waiting will depreciate?   I wonder if I can write that off.
Actually, I don't see it happening as the dollar is at a low relative to the yen.

I think It's because other brands are going to release some new japanese rubbers made in same factory of Tenergy.

Cornilleau is gonna release PULSE rubbers. Made in Japan, High Arc, Porous Sponge, 90% natural rubber

Nittaku will have this one:

Let me know when they will drop the price by 50% and I might reconsider.

Here, they went from ~550 to ~900, which gives a price raise on more then 50%! By dropping it with 20%, the new price will still be more then 700. Add to this that the initial price of 550 wasn't cheap.

Didn't bother to calculate how it would transfer to USD, the prices mentioned are in SEK (Swedish kronor).

Nittaku needs to hire someone that can come up with some good names or at least ones that make sense!

Sounds good. I remember the good old days when Donic players used Donic rubber, Nittaku players used Nittaku rubber, Joola players used Joola rubbers, and so on lol

Speedplay has to also contend with a slightly stiffling 30% sales tax.

That's 141 dollars. And we thought we are getting screwed here in NA.

Butterfly's greedy prices along with a goverment that want's to tax everything makes sure there is no vheap solution.

Luckily enough, the price of ~900 is the listed retail price, but for some reason, all retailers here have had offers on Tenergy, seeling them for ~650 instead. Still to much.

Interesting. I've looked but seen no decreases on U.S. or Canadian based sites. I wonder if it's just regional.

Srivers also going down as well to $33.99 down from $39.99 USD at americantabletennis.com. Now it would be great to see BTY blades follow.
